Join us at the helm of our financial operations as our new Commercial Controller. Your financial expertise will be key in enabling the growth and success of Wundermart. 


What you will do.

As our new commercial controller, you will be the go-to Finance colleague for our commercial teams responsible for new shop openings and account management. Your support will be crucial in reviewing monthly shop results and sharing financial insights both internally with our commercial team and externally with the Hotels.

Together with the Commercial Director you set the sales budget for the year and re-forecast on a regular basis. Being responsible of the project administration, you will work with the project managers to monitor investments and keep track of the project’s financial performance.

Data is crucial for making smart decisions, and you'll help by creating reports regularly. You'll also look after the finances when we test or launch new products. Diligently managing all other income streams, from license fees to rebates, falls within your scope. Furthermore, you'll spearhead efforts to automate our Adyen reconciliation process, leveraging collaboration with our in-house tech experts.

Most importantly, with your basic knowledge on financial processes and your urge to continuously improve, your contribution will be key in designing and implementing scalable processes in order to facilitate our future growth. Constantly looking for efficiency or effectiveness improvements is what makes our finance organisation stand out.

Job requirements

What you can bring.

  • You have a good understanding of finance and accounting (HBO/BSc/MSc in Finance or Accounting).
  • You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in similar finance roles.
  • You thrive in a creative, fast-paced environment, and you enjoy challenging the status quo.
  • You have an analytical and hands-on approach, with a strong urge to learn.
  • Working with Excel sheets and formulas is second nature to you.
  • You are fluent in English (oral and written). Additional Dutch, German and/or French is a plus.
