Looking for a wunderful bookkeeper. 

We’re increasing our numbers! So, if you’re an experienced bookkeeper with a great eye for detail then this may be the opportunity for you. Our Amsterdam team is looking for a new financial Wunder that has mastered the art of accounting and is fluent in Exact Online. 

What will you be doing?

You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records using Exact Online. You'll work closely with our management team to ensure that our financial goals are met and assist our finance manager in performing month-end and year-end close procedures. You'll also record financial transactions, reconcile bank and creditcard statements, and generate financial reports such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cashflow statements.

In addition to these responsibilities, you'll also prepare and file quarterly and annual tax returns, assist the finance manager in preparing budgets and forecasts, and manage vendor relationships to ensure timely payment of invoices.

Your working location will be our Amsterdam HQ. You can of course work from home from time to time, but we encourage everyone to come in to the ‘office’ regularly. It helps to build a team feeling and spirit.  

Job requirements

Your credentials. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field 
  • At least 3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field 
  • Skilled in accounting software and MS Office, Excel and Exact Online accounting  
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in Dutch and English  
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Living in the Netherlands
